These are a couple of experiments I did in 2007 to add drop shadows to Java Swing components. The shadows are a little bit more fancy than the standard ones you might find on the likes of Mac OS X or Vista. (Can't see the difference? Pay close attention as each window is resized or moved over its siblings.)
